Books Between Kids is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization serving the underserved communities of Texas children by providing them with books to build their own home libraries.

- As of 2021, Children Under 6 in Texas have a Poverty Rate of 24.8%
- Over 60 percent of Texas’ public school students are identified as economically disadvantaged
- Early literacy skills developed by reading help to improve a child’s Cognitive, Comprehension, and Communication skills while also Reducing Stress & increasing Memory Retention abilities in the future
